Founded by Dr. Stephen Chu, Aquila Medical Center was created with the vision of building a medical practice that goes beyond traditional aesthetic treatments. The clinic integrates aesthetic medicine, general medical care and complementary therapies to provide a more comprehensive approach to health and wellbeing.

Dr. Stephen Chu
Dr. Stephen Chu is the Founder and Medical Director of Aquila Medical Center, with more than 17 years of experience in plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine and healthcare leadership.
He obtained his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, followed by a Master of Surgery, and completed extensive clinical training across Ireland, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States and Singapore.
Dr. Chu underwent specialist surgical training in plastic and reconstructive surgery, including appointments at Singapore General Hospital and KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital, where he gained experience in reconstructive procedures, microsurgery and complex surgical care.
He later transitioned into aesthetic medicine and served as a consultant with Raffles Medical Group, focusing on non-surgical aesthetic treatments and skin rejuvenation.
Dr. Chu founded Aquila Medical Center with the vision of creating a modern medical clinic that integrates aesthetic medicine, preventive healthcare and longevity-focused therapies. His clinical philosophy emphasises personalised treatment, evidence-based medicine and the use of advanced medical technologies to support both appearance and long-term health.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Chu serves on the Board of Directors of Global Health Asia Pacific and the Global Health Quality & Innovation Accreditation Board, contributing to international initiatives that promote healthcare quality and medical innovation.
Dr. Nicolette Yeo
Dr. Nicolette Yeo is an Integrative GP and Acupuncture Physician with extensive experience in primary care, preventive medicine and holistic healthcare. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Western Australia and has practiced across hospital and primary care settings in both Australia and Singapore.
Dr. Yeo has a strong interest in integrative medicine, combining modern Western medical practice with evidence-based complementary therapies. She holds postgraduate qualifications in Acupuncture, Mental Health and Sports Medicine, and is a TCM Practising Board-certified acupuncturist in Singapore.
Her clinical approach focuses on holistic, patient-centred care, supporting patients in areas such as pain management, stress and fatigue, recovery from illness and overall wellness optimisation. By integrating acupuncture with conventional medical care, she aims to provide personalised treatment plans that address both the root causes and symptoms of health conditions.
Dr. Yeo speaks English, Mandarin and conversational Korean, allowing her to support a diverse range of patients in Singapore.
